The spectacles have microscopic camera lenses on each right temple that take 12-megapixel images and 1080p videos. The 32GB device's internal storage may hold around 500 images and up to 100 30- second videos. The Meta View app makes it simple to synchronise and share collected content across Meta's many platforms.

Meta now also allows users to start live feeds on Facebook or Instagram with just a few taps on the glasses' stem.
